Too many people who serve others struggle in silence when they need support most. Veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and their families often face long waitlists, poor provider matches, stigma, and systems that are hard to navigate.

Ithos Wellness was founded by Rod Price, a Marine veteran, former first responder, and longtime healthcare and operations leader who has seen this gap from more than one side. He knows what it feels like to need support and not know where to turn. He also knows how stigma, pride, and broken systems can keep people from asking for help.

In 2008, Rod reached one of the lowest points of his life and nearly gave up. What helped him move forward was grace, support, and the realization that no one should have to face that kind of darkness alone.

Since then, he has committed himself to veteran mental health, suicide prevention, and practical support for people under pressure. In 2019, he launched the 55 Summits Challenge to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention.

Ithos Wellness, and the North platform, are the next step in that mission.

Every day, people give up before they ever receive the help they need. The calls, the waitlists, the mismatches, and the frustration are real. Ithos exists to make support easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to act on, for veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, families, and the organizations that serve them.
